Join the Mount Airy Main Street Association for its annual History 101 programming! On Tuesday we will be joined by local author Laurie L.C. Lewis who deals with the War of 1812 era in The Free Men and Dreamers series. On Wednesday local Native American re-enactor Brian Johnson, who will be portraying a Native American during the War of 1812, will be here. On Thursday local author Bob O'Connor will be discussing his new book The Amazing Legacy of James E. Hanger, Civil War Soldier. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. A Celebrating America program.

Join us for a free workshop on the state and federal programs that are available to help people pay for Medicare and Part D prescription drugs. Not every program is a low income program and not everyone has an asset test. We will provide you with information and forms you need for the application. Assistance will be available on site if you are interested. There is no cost to apply to these programs and no cost to be in them. Come and start saving. Also learn how to protect yourself from Medicare fraud and abuse.

Join the Carroll Community College Theater Department for an entertaining play that will delight young and old! This hilarious story is about Ferdo and Floof, two really dumb dogs who are constantly getting into trouble with their owner Roger, due mainly to their desire to break his rules. Ferdo and Floof decide to run away and seek fame and fortune on their own, but find trouble instead. Ferdo and Floof must rally their brainpower and learn that sometimes following the rules is important. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. All attendees need to register.
