A little push, a twist, a turn. Keep those little fingers busy and experimenting in our library Tinkertown. Fun, playful activities will engage the mind and body as your child builds their fine motor skills and creativity. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Only kids need to register. This program is sponsored in part by a Community Arts Development Grant from the Carroll County Arts Council and the Maryland State Arts Council. Lewis who deals with the War of 1812 era in The Free Men and Dreamers series. On Wednesday local Native American re-enactor Brian Johnson, who will be portraying a Native American during the War of 1812, will be here. On Thursday local author Bob O'Connor will be discussing his new book The Amazing Legacy of James E. Hanger, Civil War Soldier. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. A Celebrating America program.
