Many people in Carroll County travel Liberty Road each day, often crossing over Liberty Reservoir. But few know that there was once a town located where the reservoir is currently. Join Michael Rudnick as he discusses the displaced town of Oakland Mills, which was flooded in the process of creating Liberty Reservoir. Mr. Rudnick is a local historian and raconteur, who has published articles related to the history of the Sykesville area on Eldersburg Patch and with various local print publications. A Celebrating America program.
