Join us for a special event of holiday cheer as we prepare holiday cards for veterans, military families, and active-duty service members at hospitals and installations around the world. Cards and personal messages provide a welcome touch of home for our troops during the holiday season. We will make or sign donated holiday cards, while remembering our service members who serve during the holiday season. There will be a special reading of General McAuliffe’s Christmas Message of 1944, a Freedom Shrine document, by local Carroll County resident and musician Paul Whitson. He will also present letters from war in voice. Let’s all come together and share in the spirit of the season for our heroes! Drop in from 4-8 p.m. A Celebrating America program.
