An Evening with Jacquelin Gorman

Join us for an evening with Jacquelin Gorman, author of The Viewing Room, winner of the Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction. Gorman's nine, interwoven and compelling stories focus on the experiences of two hospital chaplains who minister in a Los Angeles hospital. Jacquelin Gorman grew up in a family of physicians near Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has worked as a health care lawyer and a hospital chaplain and is currently the program director for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Ms. Gorman has an MFA in fiction from Spalding University. She is the niece of Ogden Nash. Ms. Gorman is also the author of The Seeing Glass: A Memoir.
