For All Ages
Westminster Branch Library has a garden plot in the Westminster Community Garden, located at East Middle School/Skate Park Gardens. And because hands-on gardening is the perfect way for families to get outside and get their hands dirty, among other things, we’d like you to join us in the garden. Each gardening season offers unique and engaging activities, so each week in the library garden will be different. There will be lots of garden-related activities throughout the growing season, and each week’s activity will be guided by library staff. Come grow with us! Work clothes are recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the Westminster Branch on Saturday, 3/22; all other weeks we will meet at East Middle School/Skate Park Gardens, weather permitting. A Celebrating America program.

Join us to celebrate SCIENCE during the New Adventures with the James Webb Space Telescope workshop! Explore infrared light and learn how it will play in a role in NASA’s next space-based mission, the James Webb Space Telescope. Build a simple refracting telescope that is yours to keep. The New Adventures with the James Webb Space Telescope workshop activities were developed by education and outreach staff at the Space Telescope Science Institute, which is operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc. for NASA. This workshop is offered
