Learn how to hula hoop for fun and fitness. Lauren Alford, an expert hooper, will teach hula hoop skills from basic to advanced. Bring your own hoop if you like. Others will be provided. All attendees need to register.

Chincoteague Ponies with Author Lois Szymanski

Join author Lois Szymanski as she shares some stories about Chincoteague ponies and how they survive today. Her talk will include information about the ponies, who are the focus of her Chincoteague pony trading cards, the foals that inspired her picture book Wild Colt, and the amazing survival of the stallion who is the topic of her chapter book The True Story of Miracle Man. After the talk, visitors will be able to meet a real Chincoteague pony and ask questions of the pony's owner. This will be a great experience for the entire family! All attendees need to register.
