Learn from Dr. Virginia Brown, University of Maryland Extension, the advantages of green cleaning, how to properly store and prevent poisoning from household items. You will also make 2 green cleaners and leave with a recipe book.

Linda Auerback, Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator for Carroll County, will discuss the alarming use and availability of drugs and alcohol among Carroll County youth, including synthetic drugs such as bath salts and spice. She will provide an update on overdose deaths and use of heroin and prescription drugs in our community. Current trends will also be reviewed.
