CCPL can send text messages with notification of holds and one-day-in-advance date due notices to your cell phone.

To take advantage of this service:

Text messaging must be part of your cell phone service. (CCPL will not charge for text messages, but your cell phone provider may. Check with your provider to find out if there is a charge for incoming text messages.)

Sign up online on CCPL web site (library.carr.org/text.asp) or ask a staff member to set up the service for you.

Make sure we have your current cell phone number. Notify us immediately if your cell phone number changes, or you cancel text messaging or your cell phone service.

Messages from CCPL will have the #839-60 in the "From" field.

Text message notification does not replace our normal overdue and billing notices sent via email, telephone, or paper.
