Popular lecturer Gary Kavanagh returns for our continuing Historical Lecture Series. In this series, we will examine the causes of World War II, the major battles, the tenuous peace and the Communist threat. Why was the world plunged into catastrophe just 20 years after the War to End All Wars? The origins and beginning years of the struggle between liberal democracy and Communism will be analyzed. Finally, Gary will investigate the rise of China as a nascent world power and the still to be ended war in Korea. We hope you can join us for this compelling look of the origins of some of today's headlines.
