Come celebrate the Citizen Kane of bad movies at the Carroll Arts Center. At 7:00 PM, we will have a crowd-participation screening of Tommy Wiseau’s disaster-piece, The Room. This film, well-known for its unintentional hilarity, is shown at Midnight Movie screenings across the world. After the film, Greg Sestero, aka Mark from The Room, will read from his recently published memoir, The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room (the book is currently being adapted to film by James Franco and Seth Rogan). He will also be screening cast interviews, answering questions, and enlisting the audience to come on stage and do dramatic readings from The Room’s original script. Tickets can be purchased for $15. Extra tickets might be available at the door, but advance purchase is recommended. Books will be sold and signed after the event. This film is rated R. Click Here to Register

Hugs & Stitches Crochet & Knit for Charity is a group of knitters and crocheters who meet each week to create scarves, hats, mittens and afghans, all of which are donated to local charities. Anyone interested in helping must be at least a beginner crocheter or knitter. Please feel free to join them as they can always use more hands to help meet the growing need for these items. Although the group usually meets each week at Westminster Ridge, they will meet at the Westminster Branch the first Tuesday in May.
