Learn about their surprising roots abroad, popularity throughout America during the Victorian era, their Baltimore inventor and practitioners, and their 21st century versions found all around us. Are you or someone you care about eligible for Medicare? Come and find out how to get the most out of your Medicare health benefits. Medicare 102 covers the four parts of Medicare with a special focus on the Medigap plans. Learn about the different medigap plans and your period of Guaranteed Issue Rights. These secondary/supplemental plans can cover the deductibles and co-insurances not covered by Medicare. We will cover the Medicare Savings Programs (not all programs are low-income programs!) and healthcare fraud. Presented by Carroll County’s SHIP/SMP program.
