Speaker Margaret M. McMahon will explore the use of social networking in genealogical research - from message boards to Second Life, including the use of Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook. Ms. McMahon is an ice hockey-playing genealogist with a strong background in computer science and engineering. She speaks frequently to genealogical organizations. This talk is part of the Carroll County Genealogical Society's monthly meeting. It is free and open to the public.

They find independence, confidence and a sense of pride by connecting with the gentle horses who help them do the impossible.
