Are you in need of service hours? Do you like working outside and don't mind getting your hands dirty? If so, this may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! We are looking for students ages 14 - 17 to assist our local Master Gardeners with the maintenance of the Finksburg Branch Garden. Please dress appropriately, wear sunscreen, and bring water. Garden clean-up days are weather-dependent.

Branch history
Library service to the Finksburg area began on January 28, 2009 with the opening of the 13,805 square foot branch. The Finksburg Planning and Citizens' Council played an integral role in helping the Finksburg Branch become a reality. This library was the first Green building in Carroll County. Some of the green features include: geothermal wells, a storm water management system, and recyclable and recycled materials.
