All CCPL locations will be closing at 3 PM on Wednesday, November 27 (Passport services will close at 1 PM) and we will remain closed through Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will reopen for regular hours on Saturday, November 30.
Every library branch has a public copier that includes scanning capabilities.Copies are $.20 per copy. Scanned documents will be emailed to a chosen email address. Scanning is a free service.
Staff members will fax a customer’s document for $1 per page, not counting the cover page. You may also receive a document at a CCPL fax machine for $.20 per page.
Customers can print from library computers for $.20 a page. Branches also offer wireless printing. Printing costs are the same whether the page is in B&W or color.
Yes, we have a service called Global Print where you can print from anywhere and from any device or computer and pick up at your local library location. Follow our simple instructions or ask your librarian how it works.

Yes, bring your entire Real Estate/Property tax and County Water/Sewer bills to the service desk at any CCPL branch. We will only process your payment via check. No credit card or cash payments accepted.

The State of Maryland provides a limited number of forms and instruction booklets to Maryland Public Libraries. A limited selection of Federal forms and instruction booklets are also available at all Carroll County Public Library locations.

Yes, Carroll County Public Library offers Notary Public services free of charge. Appointments are recommended to ensure a notary is available. Simply call your local branch and request a Notary Service appointment. You can find more information on our Notary services page.
Carroll County Public Library no longer offers test proctoring services. We recommend that you contact these institutions in Carroll County and the surrounding region. Each meets the standards of the National College Testing Association.
